NATURAL INGREDIENTS
A mineral salt. Magnesium is a cofactor in over 300 enzyme reactions, including normal muscle and nerve function. On skin it's a humectant — draws in water, conditions, hydrates.
Main compounds: linalool and linalyl acetate. One of the most studied botanicals, with documented calming effects and a core oil in published abdominal massage blends.
One of the most-studied calming botanicals. Its esters and apigenin are documented in research for soothing, softening effects on skin.
Melts at skin temperature and carries the oils in evenly. Occlusive enough to hold moisture in without a heavy finish, supporting the skin barrier.
Shea's fatty acids soften and condition skin and slow water loss. Apricot kernel oil is light and fast-absorbing, so the cream sinks in without a greasy finish.
Emulsifiers, plant waxes, a preservative. They keep a water-based cream stable and safe in an open jar. None are exciting. All are on the label.
